What we see on the ground in this quadrant — and how it shapes how we work.
Assess first, quote second, work third. Same process on every job.
01
We visit the space, assess the concrete, test for moisture, and check for any existing coatings or damage. You get a written quote covering system, scope, and timeline before any commitment.
02
Planetary grinder opens the slab to CSP 3. HEPA dust extraction runs the whole time. Existing coatings, paint, or contamination removed completely before any primer goes down.
03
If the slab reads above 4.5%, MVB FC/RC goes down before primer. On older SW Calgary slabs especially, this step is not optional — moisture is the most common cause of failure and it’s flagged at the assessment stage so there are no surprises.
04
Fusion Primer applied, followed by the base coat and Flake broadcast or metallic pour depending on the system selected. Wet film thickness checked throughout.
05
Polyaspartic topcoat applied. Return-to-service time confirmed based on the cure formulation. We walk the floor with you at completion and leave care instructions before we go.
Yes. The outer NW communities are in regular rotation — Tuscany, Rocky Ridge, Royal Oak, Citadel, and Hamptons. Larger garages, newer slabs, and straightforward installs. Get a quote and we will confirm availability and timeline.
Yes, we work in these communities regularly. The older slabs need more attention — thorough diamond grinding, moisture testing, and often an MVB barrier before primer. We assess before we quote so the scope is accurate from the start.
Yes, but the paint has to come off completely first. We grind it down to bare concrete before any primer goes down. Coating over old paint that is not fully bonded will fail within months — it is not a shortcut worth taking.
Most NW Calgary garage floors are completed in a single day. Older slabs with more prep work or moisture barriers may require an additional step that extends the timeline slightly. We confirm the full schedule at the quoting stage.
We assess the slab, test for moisture, and give you a real number. No guesswork. No phone call required.
