Ribal Badin grew up on job sites. His father, Bachar, is a civil engineer who spent years renovating beautiful homes across Calgary. Basements, garages, full builds. He taught his son construction before he was old enough to drive. That same attention to detail stuck.
The family has always been in the car world. Before EFC, Ribal worked in the family automotive business, handling marketing and operations. So when it came time to build his own space, he went all in. A barndominium outside the city with a 10-car garage. The kind of place where the cars come first and the house is attached to the shop, not the other way around.
But standing in that empty garage on bare concrete, something was missing. No life. No finish. No presence. Ribal started looking into epoxy, fell deep into the products and the process, got certified through Xtreme Polishing Systems, and did his first floor in his own garage. Then friends started asking. Then their neighbours.
Within 90 days, he had his first commercial project. He was 26. Epoxy Floors Canada has been growing since.
